To quote John Weller, “today is the greatest day there’s ever been to be in the floor covering business”. In that spirit, I’m thrilled to share that we have acquired Retail Lead Management (RLM): the #1 CRM in the flooring industry!

For us at Broadlume, and on behalf of our partners, this was an easy decision to make. Our mission is simple: to connect the flooring industry through technology. The acquisition of RLM perfectly aligns with this goal and supercharges our timeline for building the best all-in-one platform to help the flooring industry operate more efficiently and effectively. 

The value of this deal will be felt by our dealers, manufacturing partners, and ultimately flooring consumers by improving communication, saving leads from being lost, and ultimately, selling more floors. 

The importance of a CRM in today’s digital-driven world is essential. These days, leads can come from anywhere: your website, a phone call, even a walk-in. The ability to improve how your leads are managed provides huge upside for any flooring business. 

Additionally, beyond leads, a CRM improves how you communicate with existing customers as well. From following up on jobs in order to get great reviews, to building out audiences for email marketing, to staying in touch with customers so they think of you for their next home improvement project, the ways in which a dealer can harness a CRM to grow their business are endless. So when the opportunity presented itself to add the #1 CRM in the flooring industry to our technology stack and services, it was a no-brainer. 

But this addition is about more than just technology. We are extremely excited that, as part of this acquisition, we will be partnering with Jason Goldberg—founder of RLM and CEO of America’s Floor Source, one of the largest dealers in the country. 

Jason will join Broadlume as a strategic advisor to help us continue to build the best tools and technology the flooring industry has ever seen. He will serve as “the voice of the dealer” to maximize the impact of everything we build for flooring retailers here at Broadlume. 

There’s no technology company in the industry that is better positioned to support the growth goals of flooring dealers everywhere, and we are excited to deliver on that potential. This acquisition represents a massive step forward in our journey, but we’re nowhere close to being done yet. The best is yet to come as we have more exciting announcements coming later this year at FloorCon 2021.
